POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Factory Quality Systems Lead Technician, you will be responsible for the development, certification, and compliance of the factory’s Food Safety Management System. You will manage the factory’s Quality Program to ensure compliance to Company and regulatory requirements. This position supports the factory’s HACCP system, Food Safety Plans, and Food Defense Plan. You will also manage Quality and Food Safety Training Compliance. They uphold Safety as a core value in all activities while actively participating in all factory Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This position is a day shift position and candidates must be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates Food Safety Management System, company Quality and Food Safety Policy, Quality Management Systems, and Federal Regulations.

• Coordinate the Factory Internal Audit Program of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.

• Ensure factory Document Control, Record Control, and Status Control programs are compliant with Corporate and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in administration and communication of changes for Quality Monitoring Schemes. Review process annually with QA Management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.

• 2+ years working in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $48,000 to $69,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
