Experienced Project Manager in Central Maine

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Project Manager with a strong background in managing large capital projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience in architectural/engineering and construction contracts negotiation and coordination is essential for this role. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations

• Negotiate and coordinate architectural/engineering and construction contracts

• Serve as the primary point of contact for other agencies, the public, architects, engineers, and contractors

• Administer the procurement process for architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring transparency and adherence to company policies and procedures

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of architectural/engineering and construction contracts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• PMP certification is a plus.
