Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Electrical Engineer - Power Systems performs electrical power systems studies and analysis for oil & gas industry clients. Utilizing industry standard analysis software (ETAP, SKM, etc.), the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to create study cases, analyze results, and provide detailed written reports. A strong fundamental understanding of industrial and utility power systems and calculation methods is required.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• The Electrical Engineer - Power Systems is responsible for working with clients to prepare studies including:

• System Short Circuit Studies

• Relay Coordination Studies

• Transient stability study

• Load Flow Analysis

• Power System Harmonics Analysis

• Motor Starting Studies

• Arc Flash Hazard Studies

• Relay Setting File Creation & Analysis

• Good knowledge of all Electrical equipment like Transformers, HT & LT Switchgears, Circuit breakers, MCC panels, Batteries, generators, Motors, etc.

• 3-10 Years of experience in power systems analysis.

• Good knowledge in reading all the Electrical documents like SLD, Layout diagrams, etc

• Good knowledge in analyzing the performance of the Electrical Equipment

• Good knowledge in Equipment selection

Desired Skills:

• Good knowledge in power system analysis tools like ETAP, SKM etc.

• Good knowledge in MS office & Candidate should have good analytical skills.

• Good written & verbal communication skills required.

• To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task, interact with customer for scope understanding technical discussion and clarifications.
