Roles & Responsibilities:

· Provide technical and thought leadership to the team and support the needs of the team.

· Formulate designs from the requirements and drive the design reviews

· Work with a team of like-minded professionals to create detailed execution plans, monitor the progress, maintain the sanity of the engineering process, and drive the team to achieve planned end goals.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks.

· Influence other teams and broader Engineering groups in adopting best practices.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Iterative, V-model.

• Good experience on Embedded SW Design, development, test & integration, debugging techniques.

• Object oriented analysis and design, Design Patterns

• Good understanding of OS: Linux, RTOS

• Experience on IDE : Tornado, Visual Studio

• Good in Programming Languages: C++ Good understanding of Networking Protocols: TCP/IP Layer, Client Server Architectures

• Exposure to IPC, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, SPI, , Wireless Technologies (BLE)

• Good understanding of stacks, memory mngt, heaps, multithreading, memory profiling tools like Coverity, Valgrind

• Good Experience in debugging techniques.

• Experience on Gerrit/Git/Jenkins/GitBucket and CI build process

Would be a plus:

• Exposure to Medical Standards & Protocols: EMR, HL7, FHIR, MLLP, IoT device-cloud connectivity protocols such as MQTT, COAP, WebSockets

• Ability to organize and present technical status to Technical Leader.

• Experience in Healthcare domain is a plus

• C language

• Good in Scripting Languages: Python, Makefiles, CMake

• Exposure to TCP/IP stack, Wifi
