JOB PURPOSE:

As a Lead Support Instructional Designer at Stryker, you will be proud of the work that you will be doing, using cutting-edge technologies to make healthcare better. Here, you will be working with our Technical Support Training Manager to develop instructional eLearn modules (CBTs) and training content for face to face or online classroom environments. You will collaborate with our Stryker Product Education team, and experts from our Technical Support and Engineering teams, working through the ADDIE framework. Our objective is to continue advancing our Technical Support's talent in customer service, process execution, product knowledge, and skills in industry leading technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will develop instructional design strategies and implement technology initiatives utilizing Articulate Storyline 360 and Captivate.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Education and Technical Support experts to understand business goals, prioritize tasks, negotiate content, communicate timeframes, and to ensure content accuracy and quality.

  • Provide creative and unique solutions that enhance education, engage learners and transfer knowledge more effectively.

  • Update current eLearn modules (CBTs) to be Section 508 compliant and meet Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). Edit recorded training sessions to be used as modules and put into LMS (ComplianceWire and Cornerstone)

  • You will provide instructional design consultation, technology application consultation, and instructional asset development for online and blended learning experiences

  • Build new online courses, labs and technical support certifications using writing, graphic design, branding, image editing, document formatting, animation, video, audio and e-learning authoring tools

QUALIFICATION:

  • University degree in instructional design, a certificate in instructional design, or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of Articulate Storyline Authoring Tool

  • 4+ years' experience crafting, developing and implementing interactive e-learning programs/courseware, performance measurement in a software environment or corporate setting

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written formats

  • Use your strong project management background and demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines, problem solve and commit to results

  • Utilize your negotiation skills to lead and negotiate trade-offs that are in the best interest of our workstream and technical support education

  • Strong ability to transform raw content and data from multi-functional teammates into interactive eLearning content with full narrative and illustrations

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and standards such as SCORM, AICC, and xAPI

  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Camtasia, and Articulate Rise
