Working closely with Sales and Software Engineers, the support team acts as our customers’ champions. Engineering / R&D at Nutanix Your Role

1. Develop software framework to manage the lifecycle of distributed software systems; OS, hypervisor, and firmware

2. Ability to make the code extendable for a massively distributed infrastructure with several nodes with millions of entities

3. Understanding of micro services architecture and challenges is a Plus

4. Understanding of container technologies like docker, Kubernetes, etc. is a Plus

5. Understanding of hypervisors like ESXi or KVM is a Plus

6. Ability to implement features by referring to design, by following coding guidelines

7. Understanding intrinsic details about key distributed design principles in virtualized environments.

8. Interact with other teams across the system software stack to clearly communicate and express your technical views and design What You Will Bring

9. Excellent coding skills in any Python, or Golang

10. Ability to collaborate and solve broad problems spanning multiple teams

11. Ability to understand required documents and translate them to code

12. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, agile environment

13. Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving skills

14. BS, or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and 2–3 years of experience
