If so, you might be the Senior UX Researcher Microsoft Digital Studio is looking for.

Microsoft Digital Studio is a global team of designers, researchers, data scientists, and strategists who collaborate to create innovative digital products and services for Microsoft and its customers. We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our Hyderabad or Bangalore studio and lead user research projects across various domains and platforms, including M365 Copilot (Microsoft’s AI offering) and our Hybrid Work Research portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and conduct user research activities such as quantitative surveys, usability tests, diary studies, and interviews.

  • Partner closely with key stakeholders across design, engineering, data science, and leadership to establish trust and deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative user data and insights to inform design decisions and strategy.

  • Communicate and present research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including product teams, senior management, and external clients.

  • Mentor and coach junior researchers and designers on user research methods and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver user-centric digital solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 2+ years User Experience Research experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) User Experience Research experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting user research for digital products and services, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting.

  • Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and tools, such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, remote and in-person testing, prototyping, and data visualization.

  • Experience with online survey platforms, such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or Microsoft Forms.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.

  • A portfolio of user research projects that demonstrate your impact and process.
