Job Overview:

Co-ordinate and provide a fitting service to the project to enable the project to meet or exceed set targets. Ensure compliance with HSE policy and attach line supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for co-coordinating and implementing the most productive use of material and equipment for assigned project. Responsible for co-coordinating and implementing the most productive and cost effective use of manpower on assigned project.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards and housekeeping.

• Monitor project productivity and man hour data adjusting accordingly to meet progress and productivity targets for the project. (Productivity < 1)

• Provide leadership, direction and make decisions in pursuit of project goals and objectives.

• Responsible and accountable for the maintenance of fitting equipment and also budgetary management for assigned project or shop.

• Clearly delegate actions and responsibilities to subordinates, clearly defining deliverable requirements in terms of scope and schedule to the team.

• Responsible for ensuring that each employee is adequately trained and qualified to execute his work assignment competently and safely.

• Facilitate and maintain good inter-discipline communications and cohesion throughout the Fitting department.

• Continually review and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures / work instructions.

• Fully understand and proactively invoke the Company HSE Policy, Philosophy and Procedures.

• Liaise with piping engineer and shop planner to establish a pipe fabrication and erection plan.

• Maintain planned schedules and achieve productivity factor of < 1.

• High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Minim um Diploma graduate and/or possess fitting experience.
