Harco Fittings LLC, founded in 1966 in Lynchburg, Virginia is a producer of gasketed joint injection-molded PVC and push-on gasketed joint ductile fittings. Our Harco locations span across seven states in the US and we are looking for new individuals to come be a part of a dynamic and growing team today!

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Washer. This role is based in our facility in Bellingham, WA and reports to the Plant Manager. This position will start at $23.43 per hour.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive attitude for this role! The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Principal Responsibilities

Utilizing low water pressure and dish soap for washing a wide variety of materials and fittings

Washing raw to finished products of all shapes and sizes

Completing work in a timely manner

Upon completion, shuttling materials/fittings to their respective departments using pallet jacks or a forklift

Requirements

• High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

• Experience in forklift operation and other machines or equipment is an asset

• Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn

• Great teammate with a proven track record to contribute to and cultivate a positive work environment

• Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English

Working Conditions

• Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs.

• The use of hand tools

• Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required
