managing of Software Development local Department in order to ensure software development management for the life of the project, in-line with the GKN ASPICE® compliant process for eDrive and AWD systems. Ensure software release and reporting. Enable the development team members to understand and implement the customer and project requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead software development team according to development processes which meets the requirements of GKN ASPICE and ISO26262

  • Manage definition and implementation of GKN standards and common tools

  • Ensure software quality and manufacturing readiness.

  • Manage budget, headcount, and CAPEX in line with plan

  • Support GKN strategies, innovation, and software development on time, on quality and on cost.

  • Ensure required team-member capabilities and support development of essential competencies and qualifications through coaching and trainings

  • Execute RFI/RFQ activities on software level

  • Develop local suppliers and engineering partners

  • Foster innovation (invention disclosures, Methods, Tools).

  • Foster efficient collaboration with engineering and functional partners

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelors / Masters in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or equivalent)Several years of experience in team management of bigger projectsMinimum 10 years Engineering experience in AutomotiveMinimum 4 years leadership experience (line or project with minimum 5 reports)Experience in developing essential competenciesKnowledge in automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive Spice.Proven communication, teamwork and organizational talents.Skilled handling of customers and suppliersOrganizational talentCompliance matrix and RFQ handling competency Experience of working in Continuous Integration & Deployment environment
