ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of a self-organized cross-functional Scrum team, actively contributing to implementing the applications and services of the SAP Profile and the SAP Community Platform. Joining our diverse multi-national team will expose you to plenty of cutting-edge technologies and give you a vast opportunity to learn and grow continuously.

THE ROLE

Your expected contribution to our teams activities will include but wont be limited to the following:

  • Work with UX designers and UI developers to implement Web UIs with a focus on accessibility topics

  • Work with and contribute to our UI Component library

  • Involve in the discussion with product owners, UX designers, and developers and make design or implementation proposals

  • Support testing and maintenance of the developed features

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a person, whos passionate about software development, loves to write code and willing to get hands-on experience with cloud-based web applications and microservices.

  • Student (f/m/d) of Computer Science or related field at a university or university of applied sciences

  • Strong learning capabilities and analytical thinking

  • Good English communication skills

Mandatory tech skills:

  • Java or JavaScript or TypeScript

  • HTML5, CSS, SASS/SCSS

  • Web protocols and networking fundamentals

Non-mandatory, but preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of Web Accessibility guidelines and implementation

  • React, Next.js

  • Web Applications, microservices, modern API technologies (REST)

  • Unit Testing

This is an SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
