We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Android TV Developer to lead the development of cutting-edge Android TV platform. As a Senior Android TV Developer at Altice USA, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and implementing high-quality software for Android TV. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the creation of engaging television experiences.
- Provide technical leadership to the Android TV development team, guiding them in architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices specific to TV platforms.
- Lead the design and development of feature-rich TV experience, ensuring quality is in the forefront of the development.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to integrate features and functionalities into the TV front-end platform.
- Drive innovation in the Android TV space, exploring innovative technologies and implementing features that enhance the entertainment experience.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Android TV development, incorporating them into the development process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in Android TV development, with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
- Must have proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android TV app development.
- Nice to have proficiency in Linux, C/C++, Bash script, Python and SQL
- In-depth knowledge of Android TV architecture, guidelines, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers.
- Creative thinking and a passion for exploring new possibilities in the Android TV domain.

The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $100,246.00-$164,689.00/ year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
