What will you contribute?
As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding the global banking software market. Part of the Finastra Product Strategy Team, you will help collect customer feedback, competitive intelligence and market requirements across all lines of banking business (retail and corporate banking, loan origination and servicing, payments, digital channels, capital markets and investment management) in order to drive our financial software product roadmaps and improve sales efficiency. You will become a true expert in the FinTech market and use your knowledge to help navigate Finastra strategy.
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Interview Finastra Customers and Prospects:
Identify financial institutions among Finastra customers and prospects suitable for phone interviews on their perception of our software products, competition, market trends and their requirements
Manage interview pipeline end-to-end (contact interview targets, arrange interview time, conduct phone interviews, write up detailed interview notes and discuss findings with the Market Intelligence team)
Share knowledge within Finastra by producing regular updates on customer feedback on market trends, functional requirements and competitiveness
Research and Analyse Competitors:
Collect and analyse intelligence on Finastra’s established and upcoming competitors in the global FinTech market
Benchmark competitor offerings against Finastra software solutions, determine key strengths and weakness, develop impactful market positioning
Produce competitive battle cards for Finastra’s Sales organization to help them win more opportunities
Support the Finastra Platform strategy by monitoring FinTech industry trends and start-ups
1+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, consulting or competitive intelligence
Strong phone communication skills in English in order to navigate sophisticated conversations on technology with senior banking executives across the globe
Keen on analytical work which includes consuming large amounts of information, identifying trends and producing consulting reports
Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient: work under no micro-management constantly delivering high-quality results and driving own agenda
Effective oral and written communication skills in order to be efficient in a multi-national and multi-cultural organization
