Amazon Sr. Technical Program Manager, Developer Experience in Bucharest, Romania

Description

You will lead the launching of features and products for Amazon Privacy Technology in collaboration with internal Amazon teams. This means working with multiple teams that own critical services for Amazon, influencing them to build or to adopt features.

This team creates the tooling around privacy compliance services, real-time and distributed systems. We automate the privacy compliance experience for our customers in the pursuit of privacy by design.

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager you’ll drive the design and work closely with the technical team to ensure the requirements are implemented efficiently and appropriately.

You will co-own goals for building systems and tools that are highly secure and can scale to millions of requests per second.

You are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that, frankly, haven’t been solved at scale before - anywhere. You’ll encounter challenging, novel situations every day, and given the size of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations.

You’ll join a team that is entrepreneurial, excited to work in a “green field”, wear many “hats”, and work in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Bucharest, ROU

  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
