Buffalo State University seeks a full-time, Senior Counselor/Psychologist to provide assessments and interventions to students seeking services. Provide short-term psychotherapy, wellness workshops, crisis intervention, assessments, report-writing.

Requirements below: Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, with completed post-doctoral internship. Candidate will be a licensed psychologist in New York State or license eligible within 12 months of hire date. Candidate will have skills and experience in providing time-limited psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and consultation. Candidate will have expertise in providing mental health assessments and treatment, expertise in administering testing and report writing for assessments such as the Standford-Binet, Woodcock-Johnson, Weschler Achievement tests/scales, assessments, and diagnoses for disorders such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders. Candidate will have skills and experience in providing culturally informed mental health services to diverse populations.
