How will you make an impact?

The Senior Manager, Product Management will provide leadership and execution for RUO and IVD labeled products in our Sample Preparation business unit, with a focus on instrument and reagent portfolio. They will be responsible for development of product strategy, product definition, positioning, and product lifecycle management. Our Product Managers act as mini General Managers for their portfolio by collaborating with all business functions to ensure their products meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

What will you do?

  • Manage sample preparation instruments and reagents products and lead commercialization and/or product development activities to deliver revenue goals and key strategic market position in life sciences markets.

  • Work with the leadership team to build out the near and long-term strategic roadmap and priorities.

  • Manage global supply, demand, revenue, margin and pricing for product portfolio; updating and presenting forecasts regularly to management, finance, and manufacturing teams.

  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements and competitive strategy, and find opportunities to grow customer and business value through product positioning and differentiation.

  • Partner with finance and analytics team to build scenario-based financial models and forecasts to inform market strategy and prioritize activities

  • Develop and present compelling training materials for sales teams, technical support and field application scientists

  • Provide up-to-date product content/information and support field and key customer inquiries in a proactive manner

  • Work effectively in global setting across different geographies and time zones

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, marketing or business management.

  • PhD in Life Sciences preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management or Marketing; people management experience preferred.

  • Experience with life sciences portfolio comprising instrument, software and consumables

  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis skills.

  • Proven project management and organizational skills. Strong ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Track record of presenting high-level information to multiple audiences, including scientists, executives and non-scientific personnel.

  • Automation product launch preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00–$190,650.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
