Prince of Peace Catholic School K-12 PE Teacher in Clinton, Iowa
Prince of Peace Catholic School is seeking faculty members for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a small, but growing, Preschool-12th Grade Catholic School committed to educating our students to academic excellence while nurturing the spirit and promoting Gospel values. The development of effective learning habits, self-discipline, and good citizenship is promoted daily and consistently throughout the grade levels. An Iowa teaching license or the ability to get a teaching license is required. Because the distinct purpose of a school is to create a Christian educational community where knowledge is enlightened and enlivened by the Catholic Faith and Catholic Social Teaching, teachers in the schools of the Diocese of Davenport should:
- Be a Catholic in Good Standing, who has knowledge of the Catholic faith adequate to teach its content OR
- Be a non-Catholic fully committed to the distinctive purpose, philosophy, and spirit of Catholic School education.
- Live and model the principles and moral values which are part of Catholic teaching regarding lifestyle.
- Understand and be dedicated to the ministry of Catholic school education.
