Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to oversee global internal and external communication and branding, leading a team of currently eight people. As part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for co-developing and implementing Lundbeck’s corporate communication strategy and innovative communication plans. You will also be accountable for the efficient management of all corporate communication channels, content generation and brand management processes.

Strategic Influence : As a Senior Director, you will have the opportunity to shape the company’s communication strategy and influence how we present Lundbeck to the world.

Brand Stewardship : You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s corporate visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.

Team Leadership : Leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

Global Impact : Your work will have a global reach, impacting how our company is perceived by customers, partners, and stakeholders around the world.

Continuous Improvement : You will ensure continuous improvement in our communication and branding efforts, leveraging data and feedback to make informed decisions.

Your future team

Your position as Senior Director places you as a key connector within a network built on teamwork and solidarity. You will report to and work closely with the SVP of Corporate Communication & Public Affairs, contributing to strategic decisions and shaping the company’s communication landscape.

You will also collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, from communication teams across affiliates to senior management, ensuring alignment in our communication efforts through structured collaboration with affiliates and key corporate functions.

In this position, you'll have the chance to develop meaningful connections, enhancing our company's communication and branding efforts, and your contributions could substantially influence our international reputation.

The position is based in Valby, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Your ability to collaborate effectively across departments is crucial, and you should have a deep understanding and respect for cultural differences and diversity.

Leadership and mentorship are also key competencies. You should have experience in leading communication teams, providing guidance, and creating opportunities for professional development.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone with:

• 8+ years of experience from a corporate setting, ideally from a listed company in the pharmaceutical sector.

• Demonstrated experience in formulating and applying communication tactics, converting extended goals into immediate and mid-range operational benchmarks.

• Well-versed in developing engaging content for internal and external platforms, including SoMe and internal communication channels.

• Capability to use data analytics tools to track and analyze communication performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, sentiment and impact, and use insights to refine communication strategies and tactics.
