Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager in Farmington, Connecticut

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Senior Payroll Processor in a manufacturing industry, located in central Connecticut. This role revolves around payroll processing and the use of various accounting software systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll using ADP and other related accounting software systems

• Manage the payroll function, ensuring all processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner

• Supervise the accounting functions related to payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies

• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy

• Handle benefit functions, including administrating employee benefits and working with benefit providers

• Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues, maintaining high levels of customer service

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including data privacy and payroll tax laws

• Use accounting knowledge to manage and resolve complex payroll accounts and transactions.

Requirements

• Experience with ADP is required

• Should be adept at Data Processing

• Must be able to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in Auditing is necessary

• Ability to manage Benefit Functions is required

• Compliance knowledge and experience is a must.
