What will you contribute?

Reporting to the Product Director, the Product Manager will manage the life cycle of some functional modules of the Treasury solution (Kondor+) in order to address new customer needs, in line with the corporate growth objectives. This includes business case development, market research, roadmap definition, follow up of the development with the R&D teams, and go-to-market activities.

The key aspect of the position is to act as a mentor and a subject matter expert with the local R&D organization (Business Analysts, QA and Development). A strong experience with banks, in particular with the front and middle office is a must have (either as a bank internal resource, or as consultant for a software vendor).

You will be part of an international team, with other product managers located in Paris and London.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a Product Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience in the Treasury market, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that would improve the product, and drive growth.

  • Serves as the key contact for product questions and new product ideas which surface from customers, sales, or market research.

  • Identifies and analyzes critical issues related to the product design and promotion of the product(s). This implies a very strong relationship with the business analysts and development teams.

  • Translates product strategy into recommendations and feature definition to address market opportunities.

  • Provides overall direction for product enhancements and general product development requirements.

  • Works with product management teams of other product lines (Risk, Post-Trade, Collateral,…) within the company to make sure that we build a consistent product offering across the portfolio.

  • Manages the resolution of escalated customer problems. Escalates problems and issues to other departments when needed.

  • Help the Business Analysts team develop proper and thorough documentation (internal and external) describing enhancements as appropriate.

  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for Product Management processes.

Required Experience:

(minimum 2 of the following)

  • 5-7 years of relevant financial services software experience (support, engineering, financial engineering).

  • 5-7 years of Financial Industry experience. Working with banks in front office activities as assistant trader, or business support, or project management and coordination between IT and trading floor.

  • Experience working with project management software application analysis, design or implementation (knowledge of project management principles).

  • Proven track record of product management accomplishments with another software vendor would be a plus.
