About the job:

The CNP Tech II is responsible for performing electroneurodiagnostic testing using recommended guidelines established by ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Inc.) and or AAET (American Association of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists). The CNP Tech II is responsible for performing competently two or more modalities of Electroneurodiagnostic testing, including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, NCV, and EEG Pruning, They are additionally responsible for: patient preparation, education, maintaining END labs, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization. Works within a flexible environment (hours, days, and location). Will participate in on-call rotation as indicated. The CNP Technologist II will also participate in precepting and training new Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist I and trainees. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization. Works within a flexible environment (hours, days and location). Will participate in on-call rotation as indicated. The CNP Tech II will assist the Senior CNP Technologist with assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: High School Graduate or Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program Preferred

  • Experience: One year experience, board eligible preferred

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Competent in performing two or more testing modalities with the CND department

  • Multiple sites required

  • CPR certified

  • Effective computer skills

  • Valid Driver's License
