Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join an enterprise retail company hybrid out of Columbus, Los Angeles or Seattle. The Product Manager, Outbound Logistics, will be supporting the Warehouse Management System (WMS) team. This person needs to have a thorough understanding of how an e-commerce or retail product goes into and out of the Distribution Centre (DC). Knowledge specifics could include but are not limited to: carrier integration, freight organization, transportation management systems, and/or parcel engine. Any experience with WMS, specifically Manhattan, will be valuable. This role requires a lot of cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, so this person should have great interpersonal skills. Standard product management fundamentals apply including: requirement gathering, writing user stories and epics, using Jira and Confluence etc. People management experience is a requirement of this role as they are looking for a leader who can step in and facilitate a safe environment to give and receive feedback.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years in Product Management or similar role

* Experience in Outbound Logistics: parcel engine, carrier API, transportation tracking, freight loading etc.

* Strong ability to build process flows for product in a Distribution Center

* People management and leadership experience

* Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

* Experience with SQL

* Strong communications, ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Motivated, takes initiative, organized, social, go-getter * Retail or apparel product experience

* Manhattan WMS experience null
