Our team is responsible for the development & maintenance for our Marketing and eCommerce Platforms. Our team is tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including platform development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.

About the role

LexisNexis is seeking an eCommerce Full Stack Development Lead. The eCommerce Lead is expected to be a hand on Magento developer and have both a deep technical knowledge of web application implementations, orchestration of multiple services, and the benefits and challenges of these implementations. The eCommerce Lead will play a pivotal role in managing the development and maintenance of the eStores, hosted on the Adobe eCommerce Cloud platform. We are looking for someone who has technical savvy and strong communication skills. This hands-on role will lead the technical resources in the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with product and business partners to implement commercial grade solutions for challenges in the digital storefront space.

  • Perform as the lead developer of the full stack implementation, helping to design and review technical solutions to business problems.

  • Work to ensure continuous improvement in the results of the team with respect to accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency of solutions.

  • Work to ensure continuous improvement in the skills of the developers on the team.

  • Collaborate across developers, designers, product managers and testing resources, to drive system designs from concept to implementation.

  • Complete management responsibilities include performance management, hiring and coaching of staff, and resource planning.

  • Communicate regularly with peers and management.

  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains a variety of solutions within the full stack of the digital storefront.

  • Ensure all staff is provided with training and resources needed to perform their jobs to the most outstanding degree possible. Ensure all staff is provided with frequent feedback and coaching in order to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.

  • Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.

  • Empower the staff to be accountable and responsible for their own actions and decisions.

  • Provides off-hour, on-call support if necessary

    Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in online Magento, e-commerce, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on Magento platform management.

  • Proficiency in Magentos’s admin system, covering product listing, order management, and theme customization.

  • Proficiency in building headless Magento stores using community edition of Magento

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Software development process expert in Agile methodologies

  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git

  • Around 8 years of Proven experience as a Magento Developer with a strong portfolio of Magento-based projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of Magento architecture (preferably Adobe Commerce cloud), best practices, and coding standards.

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with Magento 2.x and familiarity with the latest updates and features..

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
