DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this important role, you will lead a team of six bureau directors each responsible for Accounting & Analysis, Reporting, and Financial Management, Payable Services, Commonwealth Payroll & Employee Travel Operations, Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, Risk Assessments & Internal Audits, and Planning and Management to include strategic planning, budget planning and control, workforce development and training, financial policy development, performance measures, facilities, and administrative services.  Communication plays a key role in this position while serving as the commonwealth business process owner for financial operations and work closely with the directors, assistant directors, division managers and other stakeholders to make strategic advances in back office processes to improve the commonwealth business operations.  Another key role in this position is you will be in charge with promoting accountability, internal controls, internal audit functions, data analytics for better decision-making. transparency, and the effective use of taxpayer resources.  Come be part of a great team and take your knowledge and experience to the next level.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) on a hybrid schedule 2-days a week and 3-days a week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Five years of experience in a position of Senior Financial Management. Additional Requirements: You must have three years of experience with Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports and statewide federal Single Audits. You must have three years of experience with development and implementation of a Strategic Plan, including Continuous Process Improvement methodology.

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Requirements: Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant as recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy Three years of combined experience with Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Audits
