Wages are Between $20.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience. Job Description Summary Under the direction of the Manager and Scheduler the Garage door installer will remove, install and service overhead doors, coiling and high-speed doors and commercial and residential operators. Essential Job Functions - Provide excellent customer service to customers, business partners and employees. - Install residential and commercial doors. - Perform skilled work to repair residential and commercial doors and operators. Include trouble shooting electrical components for replacement or repair. - Maintain a clean and organized work truck. - Unload and load trucks as needed. - Safe driving includes pulling loads on trailers. - Maintain detailed records of time and materials. - Help maintain and inventory parts on work truck. - Maintain and wear appropriate personal safety equipment and always use safe practices. - Attend safety meetings. No higher education qualifications are required. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates and Licenses Current driver license with a driving history that meets the minimum standards required by Door Systems of Montana?s insurance carrier.
