The Software Integration Group is part of the ADAS organization, which is

responsible for development and deployment of all of GM's in-house applications and technologies . The group’s main focus is on making sure components are correctly built so they work well together in complex systems. This involves defining methodologies for writing SW interfaces, implementing fixes and refactoring when needed and integrating 3rd party stacks in the correct way. On the other role – the group leads cross system debug efforts and analysis of system behavior together with the development teams.

We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer with high technical expertise and passion to work in a group.

What will YOU do

You will gain expertise in our autonomous driving system and our testing platform (simulation and playback), know the inner workings of our autonomous driving system and also get hands-on experience on working on the real environment where SW execution takes place.

• Work with complex code bases and provide insights as to how it can be improved.

• Write tools to be able to debug and analyze SW behavior in various systems.

• Lead cross-team activities to allow proper execution on SW integration between teams.

• Identifying root causes of system failures in Vehicle and Testing environment

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / SW engineering

• Over 3 years of experience of RT Embedded development

• Experience with C/C++ development

• Experience with Python

• Problem solving and debugging of complex systems
