RESPONSIBILITIES: Process sentinel (PS): Device Engineering activity of monitoring parametric performance and take appropriate proactive actions Collaborate with other Yield and Process engineers to drive yield improvements Monitor visual defect levels and work with other process engineers to find root cause solutions Partner with process development engineers to ensure new processes launch successfully with high yield Interface with other engineering groups in a team-oriented work environment to address yield issues and implement solutions to improve yields Must be willing to work flexible hours when required to support 24x7 manufacturing environment Support New Product Introductions into the fab (test vectors for die sort/and process flow setups); engineering review boards change proposals Manufacturing Support: Disposition nonconforming product and establish disposition guidelines for production Determine root causes of nonconforming product and take appropriate action Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate defects and nonconforming material QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or equivalent required. 3-5 years of experience as a semiconductor product or yield engineer desirable, but not required. Recent College Graduates welcome to apply. Demonstrated expertise to interpret data using statistical techniques (time-series analysis, DOE, SPC, ANOVA) Data analysis skills using JMP, Spotfire or other statistical software Basic knowledge on analog/RF circuit analysis Expertise in SQL/AI/Python script writing and database manipulation Understand IC fabrication technology and techniques Knowledge of device physics and/or electrical operation of CMOS, HBT, pHEMT, and MESFET devices Engage in group problem-solving and process improvement projects (familiarity with Six Sigma or LEAN methods is desirable) Write clear and concise specifications, reports, instructions, etc. Exercise proper engineering discipline required in a manufacturing environment We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcome all qualified applicants.
