About the Role : Lead Network Engineer

The Team : The Extranet team excels in collaboration and excellence, adeptly handling complex network challenges to provide outstanding solutions for clients. They prioritize innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning, always aiming to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities and Impact :

• Design, configure, and deploy extranet solutions to facilitate secure communication between external entities and our internal network.

• Implement and maintain VPN connections, firewalls, and other security measures to safeguard extranet infrastructure.

• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability of extranet services.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on extranet-related projects and initiatives.

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in extranet technologies and security.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience (10+ years) working as an Extranet Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, VPN technologies, Cloud, and firewall configurations.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5 load balancers similar network equipment. Familiarity with security standards and practices (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPsec, IDS/IPS).

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve network issues. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Team player who enjoys a mix of autonomy and collaboration-based delivery

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects.

• Self-motivated, able to self-drive customer requirements and prioritize work.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent.

• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

• Prior experience in a corporate environment managing extranet connectivity for external partners.\ Knowledge on automation tools -Itential, Ansible orchestration is an advantage.
