We are looking to hire a Software engineer II in the OneNote iOS team. In OneNote iOS (iPhone and iPad), we are working to build a fast, modern, mobile-first note-taking experience for our users and use AI-assisted contextual capture and semantic recall experiences to solve the basic human need of remembering. We are also working to provide this experience embedded in Microsoft 365 Hubs like Office and Outlook on iOS that allows the user to access & edit notes from any app/experience in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The problems we are solving range from deep architectural improvements to building delightful user experiences powered by AI/ML and using the latest technologies. Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of high-quality features/experiences in an iterative and rapid manner.

• Demonstrate passion for quality with customer empathy.

• Demonstrate ownership and technical expertise of product areas

• Be self-motivated to identify and fix gaps in our product/engineering stack

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience

• 2+ years of experience in iOS development

• Proficiency in one of the following languages - Objective C or C++ or Kotlin

• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills

• Working in agile teams with strong customer focus

• Good communication and cross group collaboration skills
