Position Summary:

The Department of Accounting in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University (A-State) invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Instructor position in accounting beginning Fall 2024.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities include teaching accounting courses in the undergraduate program, student advising, and service to the department, college, university, and accounting profession .

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching accounting at the university level

• An active CPA license

• Work experience in accounting

The selected candidates are expected to maintain AACSB instructional practitioner qualifications through continued professional experience and engagement related to their professional background and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

An Earned Master’s Degree in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited business school.

An MBA from an AACSB-accredited business school with a Bachelor’s in Accounting will also be considered.
