We are looking for an Instrument and Controls Designer to join our Israeli team based in Kiryat Gat (office/site based – 5 Days per Week) who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you will have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. They will exhibit a passion and desire to apply their professional experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects.

You’ll be accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and wiring diagrams, You’ll also manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers.

  • Perform I&C design work across several engineering disciplines in 2D/3D integrated design systems.

  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Associate of Applied Science Degree

  • At Least 5 years of I&C Design Experience

  • Experience using Revit or AutoCAD

  • Able to Navigate Navisworks

Ideally, you’ll also have:   

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel and project delivery and schedule management software tools.

  • Experience in Semi-conductor industrial or general industrial facilities

  • Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design
