HP Inc. Business Intelligence Analyst - Team Lead in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We seek an experienced and motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with strong analytical skills, Power BI and ThoughtSpot expertise, and the ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment. In addition to individual analytical prowess, this role requires leadership capabilities to guide and lead a team of contract workers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with onshore teams, ensuring effective communication and successful delivery of BI solutions.

What a Business Intelligence Analyst - Team Lead does at HP:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of contract workers in the field of business intelligence.

Data Analysis:

Problem Solving:

  • Lead the team in identifying and solving complex business problems through data analysis.

Documentation:

  • Oversee the documentation of data analysis processes, report specifications, and data definitions.

  • Ensure the team maintains comprehensive documentation for knowledge sharing and reference.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in BI tools, and best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics).

  • Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence.

  • Leadership experience, including managing and leading a team.

  • Proficiency in Power BI and ThoughtSpot.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration in a multicultural environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with onshore teams and contribute to team goals.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
