Bausch Health Financial Analyst in Laval, Quebec

We are currently seeking to fill a position as Financial Analyst & System support, based in Laval, Quebec . (The organization offers a hybrid work environment: 2 days remote – fixed schedule)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Financial Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Senior Manager, Finance regarding several financial reporting areas:

  • Inventory responsibility (obsolescence, revaluation, costing queries, external auditor support)

  • Revenue provisions responsibility (analysis and support)

  • Preparation of monthly journal entries

  • Balance sheet account reconciliations

  • Support in some SOX controls conformity

  • Key team resource for supporting various important financial systems, tools and processes:

  • Cash flow forecasting support

  • Corporate requirements support on intercompany transactions

  • Assist in the identification of process improvements / efficiencies and provide recommendations to finance leadership.

  • Finance and FP&A support for ad-hoc requests and projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration or a related field of study

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis

  • CPA designation (or in progress) is required

  • Bilingual (French and English)

  • Interest in financial systems and tools, including opportunities for automation

  • Professional, self-motivator, autonomous, energetic and inquisitive (willing to learn key business concepts and add value to processes)

  • Must be a strong team player and work well with others; strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint) and experience with an ERP system (SAP) is considered an asset

  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining a positive attitude
