U W-MADISON DIV. CONTINUING STUDIES Perinatologist Maternal Fetal Medicine in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division performs approximately 9000 ultrasounds with nine sonographers in a state-of-the art diagnostic unit. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical services, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as involvement in the academic missions of the Department including research, education, and advocacy. MFM faculty care for the highest risk pregnancies, provide consults for high-complexity cases, and staff a busy antepartum service. The Maternal-Fetal Medicine division performs approximately 14,000 ultrasounds with 20 sonographers in a state-of-the-art diagnostic unit. We have a well-established ADA-recognized diabetes in pregnancy program. The UW obstetrics services have been primarily located at UnityPoint-Meriter Hospital for more than three decades with nearly 5,000 deliveries annually in a modern facility with a pleasant work environment. Duties also include participation in departmental and divisional conferences, departmental and hospital committees, and quality improvement processes.
