How you will create an impact

This role will focus on Claims Governance and Regulatory framework. The role is to set the structure, documentation, and reporting requirements for Claims. It will extent into process and procedural requirements and have interaction with all Claim Managers and key stakeholders of Risk and Compliance and Legal.

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Governance Framework structure and maintenance

  • Responsible document owner of process and procedure capture, review and updating

  • Responsible person for change management on new/changes of process and procedure

  • Ensure the reporting requirements can be meet through data capture and extraction to meet the requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the existing regulatory environment.

  • Previous and sound experience required with a proven track record in a similar role with ability to demonstrate capabilities within Insurance

  • The ability to solve problem and develop new ideas to improve working practices.

  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills

  • Awareness of industry practices surrounding insurance claims management

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Packages – Excel, Word, Outlook etc and ability to use applications in a Windows environment

  • The ability to be a self-starter, proactive and ‘hit the ground running’ from the outset

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, brokers and

  • clients.

  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal

  • Time management – - Ability to handle multiple priorities, organise work and meet deadlines

  • Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment

  • Ability to work with claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy
