Responsibilities: Upholds the values and mission of the health system Assists the Hospital Administrator with nursing services 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week at assigned facilities. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire safety, emergency management and infection prevention and control Recommends modifications, additions, or deletions to staffing plans to ensure reasonable hours and acceptable working conditions to provide optimal patient care coverage. Maintains the staffing schedule to ensure appropriate staff coverage. Maintains close coordination with all departments to ensure continuity and collaboration of services. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality Monitor facility quality program matrix to the highest quality in nursing care to our patients and recommends changes when needed.
