Job Description In this role, you will be part of the Power Electronics Hardware Development Team, and work under the supervision of a Senior Hardware Engineer in the following areas: Design, analysis and simulation of power electronics hardware circuits and systems used in AC motor drives Construction of prototypes and testing in a development laboratory using specialized instrumentation. Gain experience with troubleshooting printed circuit boards, soldering techniques and safety practices in a high voltage laboratory Overview of Rockwell Automation\'s AC motor drives product portfolio Exposure to Rockwell Automation\'s product development processes and cross-functional teams Rockwell will match your background and skills with your interests and our business needs. Each experience is unique; if you are extended an offer, the manager will share the details about his/her intern role, including specific projects you may work on and responsibilities you may have. Basic Qualifications: Must be pursuing a bachelor\'s or advanced degree Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Electrical Engineering major or similar preferred from an accredited college or university. Experience with Power Electronics or motors Experience with design capture tools Be able to work with schematic drawings Basic knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog and/or DC-power conversion, programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs) Basic programming (C++, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript) Familiarity with tools such as CAD, Creoparametic, ERP...
