What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate I? You’ll be:

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's products. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished products from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by a supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates hand tools, or production equipment.

• Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.

• Follows GMP guidelines.

• Work at this level requires following standardized methods under immediate supervision on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.

• Follows pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal choice as to method of performance of the work.

• Has contact with employees at other levels within the company. Information exchanged is generally non-complex.

• Compliance with quality and safety requirements at all times.

• Honest and full disclosure of all activities that could impact patients or that violate our quality and safety requirements.

• Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures.

What makes you successful:

• Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.

• Applies acquired job and company knowledge of policies and procedures to complete semi-routine tasks.

• Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

• Works under close supervision.

• 0-2 years’ experience required.
