How will you contribute?

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Database Management, the Enterprise BI Developer will develop, maintain and enhance business intelligence environment across the enterprise including all BI Tools, Data Stores, Data Models and Meta Data. The role requires the candidate to understand complex, large scale data models for an enterprise system and underlying business processes to provide BI Reporting solution.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Your responsibilities and deliverables as an Enterprise BI Developer will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Work with cross-functional groups to understand reporting requirements and solution design.

  • Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.

  • Develop and implement BI solutions.

  • Develop, enhance and maintain reporting solutions including (but not limited to) self-service reporting environments, corporate dashboards, reporting cubes and direct database access environment for BI “power users”.

  • Prepare all necessary documentation that clearly describes solution and Meta data.

  • Monitor, tune up and administer BI Environments for quality and optimal performance purpose.

  • Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions.

  • Be aware of and comply with all corporate and department policies, procedures and standards that apply to your work area.

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment but at times work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.


  • Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science or other equivalent

  • 3+ years of report development experience in any of the following reporting tools SAP Business Objects, Cognos, SAS, SSRS.

  • Good to have development experience in SSAS and/or SSIS

  • 3+ years of design, analysis, implementation experience with relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle

  • Must be proficient writing PL-SQL or T-SQL queries, stored procedure writing and query performance tuning

  • Experienced in developing BI Solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards), Data Warehousing

  • Excellent understanding of data architecture, relational and multidimensional data modeling and effective aggregation of data

  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts, including but not limited to: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools

  • Knowledge of Kimball and Inmon methodologies is a plus.

  • Knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in Financial Services management, analysis and reporting

  • Design and develop objects in Oracle Database
