Essential Job Functions :

  • Experience in Vantage-One/wmA is a must.

  • Strong Experience in development in the following skills (COBOL, VSAM, IBM, DB2 Tools).

  • Development, Coding, Customization, Product Development, Bug fixing, and Developing code by languages like JCL COBOL on Vantage-One products.

  • Technical skillset Mainframe, COBOL, VSAM, IBM tools, DB2, EZT, JCL, Microfocus.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to team efforts, acting as a subject matter expert in specific domains.

  • Assist in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing solutions.

  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with operations and support teams.

  • Contribute to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices.

  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in Vantage/WMA.

  • Strong programming and debugging skills

  • Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Good team collaboration and communication abilities

  • Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges

Other Qualifications:

  • Domain Life Insurance (LOMA 280 or 290 will be added advantage)

  • Relevant certifications or training a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
