New London Community School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle/High School Language Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of language arts curriculum and instruction tailored to middle/high school students. Responsibilities:

• Implement effective lesson plans that align with middle/high school language arts curriculum standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide support as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in language arts education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Language Arts for middle or high school grades.
• Knowledge of current educational trends, research-based instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
