GNYHA’s advocacy takes many forms, from representing our members’ interest at the Federal and State governments to working alongside them to improve quality and patient safety.Job SummaryGNYHA is seeking an Administrative Assistant with the ability to work reliably in a fast-paced environment and provide administrative support to a senior executive and Quality and Clinical Initiatives team.Responsibilities:Assist an executive and Quality and Clinical Initiatives team with daily administrative activities, including scheduling meetings, word processing, document management, filing and organizing, and other administrative responsibilities.Manage executive’s calendarCoordinate travel for executive and team as neededWork with other GNYHA administrative staff to maintain equipment, cover phones, and cross-cover administrative needsPrepare lobbying and expense reports and related correspondence.Coordinate meetings and events with internal and external organizations, including hospital members and other healthcare stakeholders, including government agencies.Work on special projects as necessary.Manage and update clinical leadership distribution lists.Required Qualifications:Experience providing administrative support to C-level executives within a corporate environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and mail mergers.Proficient with Zoom for coordinating video conferences.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with all levels of management.Ability to manage competing priorities.Flexible to work overtime.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to stay poised and professional under pressure.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeSalary Range: $60,000The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement.
