Position: Associate Communications Manager (Req #R8015) Location 622 Broadway, New York, NY 10012 Duties: Perform product messaging and copy creation (e.g., drafting external marketing language, etc.). Responsible for media relations (e.g., maintaining relationships with individual journalists and outlets, securing coverage, distributing above marketing language, facilitating product support, etc.). Conduct strategic planning development and support across all campaigns (e.g., assisting in the creation of campaign plans, etc.). May work remotely within normal commuting distance. Require up to 20% of domestic and international travel. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in media communications or culture such as television and film studies, media studies plus one year of post-bachelor’s experience. Experience must include: familiarity with asset and project management tools such as Monday.com, with ability to produce communications-specific asset maps and overviews; understanding of leveraging communications tools such as Muck Rack and Cision to prepare specialized outreach and distribution lists; Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of social listening tools including Tweetdeck, Meltwater and/or equivalent, with ability to distill and analyze sentiment, short- and long-term trends and other key data; knowledge of operating and networking Playstation, Xbox, and PC hardware systems.
