Google Delivery Specialist, Strategic Pursuits, Google Distributed Cloud Edge in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in program or project management.

  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure, and distributed systems architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.

  • Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.

  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud solutions.

  • Understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

The Strategic Pursuits team in Google Cloud delivers product and implementation expertise to our strategic customers to help them get the most out of their Google Cloud investments.

As a Delivery Specialist, you will design, streamline, and enhance all aspects of the delivery process for Google Distributed Cloud Edge infrastructure platforms and solutions. You will drive operational excellence and ensure successful project execution, culminating in exceptional customer experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$287,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead the design, development, and implementation of efficient delivery processes for Google Distributed Cloud Edge projects, leveraging project delivery methodologies, best practices, and standardized execution frameworks.

  • Manage the risks, issues, and actions for the account and regularly track them to meet the expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with customer needs.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
