Robert Half Executive Assistant in Norfolk, Virginia

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the non-profit industry in Norfolk, Virginia. We're seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our executive team. This role involves a wide range of complex and confidential administrative tasks, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the executive team.

• Handling a diverse group of internal and external contacts with professionalism and discretion.

• Familiarizing oneself with university and departmental policies and procedures to provide accurate information and services.

• Managing executive office operations to ensure smooth functioning.

• Making travel arrangements for the executive team, ensuring they have all the necessary information and resources.

• Utilizing CRM and Microsoft Office Suites to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication.

• Managing calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments, and ensuring the executives are prepared for meetings.

• Drafting and managing correspondence on behalf of the executives.

• Creating and maintaining documentation as required.

• Assisting with other duties as assigned by the executive team. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years' experience in an Executive Assistant role within a Non-Profit organization

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with CRM systems

• Strong calendar management skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize schedules

• Proven ability to handle correspondence professionally and confidentially

• Experience working with C-Suite executives

• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
