What you will do

The Sr Supply Plan Specialist - Projects is responsible for planning inventory to meet customer service and inventory targets, administering physical inventories, analyzing stock control records, recommending replenishment plans, and updating inventory records. They also troubleshoot severe inventory inaccuracies, audit sales order and warehouse locations, and develop reports to keep service management aware of potential trends and shortages:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies for complex projects in alignment with the Sr Supply Plan Specialist role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet customer expectations

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions

  • Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure successful project outcomes

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes

  • Lead and manage diverse project teams for successful execution of Acquisition and Divesture Deals identified by the Business Development Team

  • Collaborate with Business leaders, functional project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver program goals and value creation through effective project execution

  • Develop and standardize A&D functional playbooks, refine A&D portal and dashboards to ensure process standardization and documentation for A&D team

  • Drive and influence peers, subordinates and senior management to achieve project objectives

  • Establish clarity in project roles, identify and balance resource requirements, define project deliverables, minimize risks, and measure outcomes using project management skills

  • Provide highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to functional management and personnel as needed

  • Support various project status review and planning meetings and establish and maintain liaison with Business Development, Business Stakeholders/Partners, Steering Committees, Integration Teams, PMOs, etc.

  • Assist in developing functional plans, goals and objectives for specific deal/project integration or separation

  • Implement lessons learned for each project, document and incorporate into future deals/projects to drive future improvements

  • Forge and maintain external networks to learn and inform improved practice

  • Analyze risks and future impact of decisions, enable effective and timely decisions and take independent action in pursuit of priorities

  • Facilitate and troubleshoot problems associated with developing complex functional integration or separation plans or fully integrated project plans

  • Drive key project delivery activities to ensure timely and successful attainment of project objectives

  • Experience in supply chain management or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
