Job Profile Summary

As a skilled DevOps Engineer you will focus on managing and optimizing our private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and system administration to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our private cloud environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automations to build the private cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance using Agile methodologies.

• Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud resources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services.

• Implement and enforce automated security measures and compliance standards for the private cloud environment.

• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Handle automation related incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

• Provide 24×7 development support as required on rotational basis

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in cloud management and DevOps.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in automating VMware based private cloud environment builds and management.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck, Python, YAML, JSON) for infrastructure as code.

• Experience in Infrastructure Automation Development comprises of networking, storage, and security elements within cloud environment.

• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration tools.

• Experience in Software development methodology in lean fashion, DevOps and Quality Assurance

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with various teams and articulate complex technical concepts.

• Experience in working with Scrum & Agile methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in DevOps tools and technologies such as Agile, Terraform, Ansible

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
