Position Overview

We work on a cutting-edge CAD product called Fusion 360. We are extending our team and in a search of a Build and Release Engineer (BRE) to improve our development tools and lifecycle. You will enable modularity and component reusability in cross-platform development environment for a large C++ project. This is a hybrid position located in Pune. An you will report to Software Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engineering solutions for reusable software components and APIs

• Participate in porting large C++ projects to new operation systems and platforms

• Take ownership of the implementation of components for CI/CD and build systems, with high emphasis on quality and sound software engineering practices

• Participate in software design reviews, conduct code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the areas of Software Build and Release Engineering and DevOps

• Excellent programming and computer science abilities

• Exposure to large-scale software build, integration, and testing environments (C++ based preferable)

• 4+ years' experience in C++ commercial project

• Experience with CMake build tool

• Strong scripting knowledge using Python and Shell scripts

• Experience with Windows, Linux (or MacOS) based software development environments

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

• Ability to learn large software systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in porting C++ projects to new Operation Systems or platforms

• Cross-platform C++ coding experience

• Excellent C++ debugging skills

• Experience with Qt-based C++ projects

• Experience with WASM projects

• Experience in Android or/and iOS

• Experience with CI/CD based on Jenkins and Git (GitHub)

• Proficient in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting, PSL)

• Experience with Docker

• Experience with Cloud platforms AWS, Azure
