U.S. Marine Corps Lead Facilities Specialist in Quantico, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a LEAD FACILITY SPECIALIST in the Facilities, Maintenance & Logistics Section of AC/S G4 MARCORSYSCOM. Responsibilities You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, and work plans. You will resolve complicated issues concerning an unlimited scope of the construction, reconstruction, and/or renovation of multiple minor and/or major construction projects. You will analyze project problems and review and interpret the requirements of plans and specifications. You will perform a wide range of work involved in the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units and systems within a variety of structures. You will plan and lay out work in accordance with drawings, sketches, verbal instructions and personal knowledge of construction techniques. You will be responsible leading the day-to-day work of subordinates assigned to the team. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least 3 years of general experience, 1 of which must be equivalent to the GS-04 level. Education To qualify through education, you must possess the following: - 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
