Compensation Data

This position offers a base salary typically between $75,000 and $147,000.  The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.  For an overview of our benefits please click here. Description

This individual will work to establish and maintain quality, productivity and high-level service in the execution of all aspects of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs and HCP contracting. As the primary liaison to all stakeholders for speakers programs and HCP consulting, the Speaker Bureau and HCP Engagement Lead will partner with Commercial, Medical and Vendors to coordinate the execution of promotional speaker program, advisory boards and individual consultancy activities. This individual must use their understanding of all relevant regulations, BIPI policies and procedures to streamline processes and promote best practices to realize increased efficiencies through consistent and compliant customer operations processing. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor and continuously improve the quality of services provided by Customer Operations and all relevant vendors through partnering with commercial and medical partners.

  • Insuring adherence to all company compliance policies and procedures for sales forces, contracted faculty, and vendors.

  • Coordinates function between Commercial, CDMA and R&D teams to drive consistency in HCP engagements.

  • Consultancy Contract Management.

  • Manage ongoing consulting contracting processes for assigned brands/TAs. Coordinate with stakeholders and vendor(s) meet current BI business and compliance requirements. Coordinates function between Commercial, CDMA and R&D teams to drive quality and consistency in all HCP engagements.

  • Partner with Legal to Review contract language and prepare standardized and routine alternative language responses to negotiate contract modifications.

  • Tracks and monitors for program timeline adherence.

  • Facilitates workflow and the Consultant meeting process

  • Supports business team with any outstanding requests and follow through

  • Confers with Agency partner to confirm that all HCP spend is reported into supplier exchange (honoraria, travel, food and beverage, etc.)

  • HCP Advisory Board Process Support.

  • Manage ongoing Advisory Board contracting processes for assigned brands/TAs. Coordinate with stakeholders and vendor(s) meet current BI business and compliance requirements. Coordinates function between Commercial, CDMA and R&D teams to drive quality and consistency in all HCP engagements.

  • Partner with Legal to Review contract language and prepare standardized and routine alternative language responses to negotiate contract modifications.

  • Tracks and monitors for program timeline adherence

  • Facilitates workflow for the Advisory Board process.

  • Supports business team with any outstanding requests and follow through

  • Confers with Agency partner to confirm that all HCP spend is reported into supplier exchange (honoraria, travel, food and beverage, etc.)

  • Identifies and highlight areas for potential improvement and make associated recommendations.

  • Ensures appropriate financial caps and clearing-house activities are properly managed.

  • Works closely with cross functional teams to oversee internal and external approval of contracts.

  • Ensures clear and timely internal and external communications regarding activities under their purview.

  • As necessary, coordinates with HCPs during contracting process for participation in consultant engagement for Human Pharma.

  • Initiates all consultants' communications and follow up in support of contract completion.

  • Coordinate and execute initial/ongoing training plans to ensure compliance and consistency in the execution of P2P programs and consulting engagements.

  • Serve as primary contact for all stakeholders and Alliance Team Members to support the Company’s strategic objectives with regards to the execution of promotional speaker programs and consulting engagements.

  • Work in tandem to ensure seamless communication between Stakeholders and Speaker Bureau/HCP Engagement regarding joint issues (i.e., Speaker Training, Marketing Initiated Programs, consulting agreements)

  • Manage ongoing promotional speaker processes for assigned brands/TAs. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure faculty sizing and fee schedules meet current BI business and compliance requirements. Coordinates function between Commercial, CDMA and R&D teams to drive quality and consistency in all HCP engagements

  • Tracks and monitors for program timeline adherence

  • Supports business team with any outstanding requests and follow through

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required

  • Knowledge of BIPI policies and procedures pertaining to HCP engagement.

  • Requires project management proficiency, professional relations, image leadership.

  • Understanding of medical affairs, marketing, speaker bureau programs, and advisory board management.

  • Experience or certification in contract, project, or process management/ operations or paralegal experience.

  • Three to five (3-5) years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry.

  • Experience is preferred in the following pharmaceutical areas: medical affairs, marketing, speaker bureau programs, advisory board management, and project management.

  • Proven ability to work in a changing regulatory environment.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with key internal and external expert stakeholders

  • Ability to plan, schedule, organize work, manage tasks, and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to challenge and provide alternate points of view.

  • Ability to build positive interpersonal relations that facilitate the accomplishment of professional relations for BIPI

  • Critical decision-making skills for problem solving for making sound judgments in contract management

  • Experience with compliance and/or ability to qualify potential risks/liability, for exposure related to major projects.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
